Lesbian, gay, bisexual, and transgender (LGBT) persons in Antigua and Barbuda face legal challenges not experienced by non-LGBT citizens. Same-sex sexual acts are illegal in Antigua and Barbuda. Male and female same-sex sexual acts carry a penalty of 5 years imprisonment.[1]

United Kingdom law does not apply, therefore a 1995 law criminalizing homosexual acts is enforceable.[2]
