Media coverageEdit

Steve Carell, then a correspondent for Comedy Central's The Daily Show, did a report on Gaylaxicon 2000 titled "To Boldly Gay".[2] Among the individuals interviewed by Carell for the convention were Jack Frost, who operated the Art Show during the event, and a number of furry erotica artists who were drawing some of their pieces at their booths; other individuals shown in the segment were Esprix, whose own interview was cut from the final cut.[3] Carell also participated in the Masquerade.
