Colm O'Gorman is Executive Director of Amnesty International Ireland. He is also the founder of One in Four, an Irish charity made to help victims of sexual violence and abuse. He is also the ex-director of that organization.
Political career Edit
He stood for the Progressive Democrats in the 2007 general election, in his home county, Wexford. On 3 May 2007, he took the late Senator Kate Walsh's place on the Senate.
In the election, he polled 3%, which was slightly higher than the normal rate of 2.7%.
Personal life Edit
Colm (who is gay) and his partner, Paul have adopted two children.
