Wikia has help page on bots but simply a bot is program that makes automated edits or helps a user make semi-automated edits
- we have multiple wiki wide issues (non-LGBT red links, cross wiki import issues, etc.) which would tedious and error-prone to remove by hand
- we have markup meant for Wikipedia (i.e. “category:Articles with unsourced statements since X”) again tedious and error-prone to remove by hand
- we want to refresh our articles from Wikipedia periodically which compounds the above issues
- an easy way to make large-scale edits (like renaming a category) without overrunning the WikiActivity and Recent Changes feeds.
- a force multiplier that once know of a problem and agree to a solution. It can be implemented wiki-wide quickly. Minimizing…

I ran across Trans* wiki while looking for LGBT projects to help. It turns out the last edit before me was sometime in 2013 and never got above 5 pages. But it was good project geared toward getting transgendered people the help they needed to transition. But the thing is I can't do everything (no one can) and need help to get this project up and running again.Read more >
Yeah, guys, I've been hiding this for a while, but I am bisexual, I've been bullied IRL life over this, and I'm a bit worried on how it will go.Read more >

Heys my fellow Bibliophiles! ...Okay, I'm not so great the 'reading all the things' but my friend James is.
He... well... Basically he just never stops. Anyway, he keeps a vlog for Felecia Day's Geek and Sundry where he suggests books based on things you already know and love!
He's done a Vlog specifically for LGBT Pride! (guest starring, LGBT Pride Vlogger, Becca Canote!)
Radtastic, right?! He likes attention so, y'know, give 'm some. ...and Read This!Read more >
Hello to all: LGBTIQ and straight supporters - I would like to invite you to edit some pages :-D Pitch in wherever you see a need. We have a great resource here but it is badly in need of updating. There are pages that have been imported from Wikipedia and are out of date, there are a mega-enormous amount of red Wikipedia links that could be de-linked. If there is a red link for an article you'd like to see a page for, feel free to start one and someone should eventually come around to improve it. Thank you in advance to anyone who reads this and wants to help out. -- DragonMage (talk) 19:07, November 27, 2014 (UTC)Read more >
Here are some of the titles of my plays which are available. "Doctor George's Magnificent Zeppelin" a two act musical play satirizing children's musicals, cultural differences, and and lifestyles. "Ascorbic Acid Freak" a one act play whose main character treats his HIV/AIDS illness with massive doses of Vitamin-C. "Eternally Yours, Jayne Mansfield" is a one act play with gay characters obsessed with cinema icon Jayne Mansfield. "Aquamarine" is a one act play with two gay friends who meet again after many years and who take a trip down memory lane while boating to a small island where trouble once occurred. "Wall Flower House" explores agoraphobia and is a one act play about a young female and her male closeted boyfriend who find compa…Read more >
Fascinating what's going on across the country, among conservatives, regarding Gay Marriage. An article in the NY Times this morning points out that President Obama's decision to abandon defending the odious Defense Of Marriage Act has aroused little vitriol.
This is an amazing turn-about. Onewhich bodes well, indeed, for Gay Marriage at both the state and federal level. This will be intriguing to follow as the months lumber along to the Presidential race next year.
Me, I'm actually optimistic.Read more >
Having been on the Klein Sexuality Grid page here, I decided to take it myself, something I'd never before done. My instinct is to treat these with skepticism. But in taking it, I must admit that it nailed me, perfectly. While I know I'm Gay, to see this spell it out is intriguing. Here 'tis:Read more >
I'm not saying that it sucks, I mean it rocks it has thousands of articles and it's on the spotlight, but it's very disturbing for me, I never knew that this will be about this:
- sex/making babies
- private parts
- lesbian, gay, tomboy, transgender, transsexual, bisexual, and many more
It's very inappropriate and disturbing for me, when I saw those perverted content that's when I knew that this is suppose to be the Lesbian Gay Bissexual Transexual Info and not something else. If you wanna talk about those, go to Dickepedia. I mean I seriosly can't find a point on making a wiki about these.Read more >
I think that the usage of disparaging remarks which seek to highlight a supposed breach of heteronormative behavior is either potentially discouraging or a potential rallying point of terminological reclamation for the LGBT rights movement. The suicides of Carl Joseph Walker-Hoover and Jaheem Herrera due to heterosexual in-school bullying further highlight the usage of sex/gender in a deprecatory verbal manner, and why it is necessary that the sting - whether its social stigmatization or threats of physical violence - should be taken out of the usage of such terms. Terms such as "butt boy", "fag" and "queer" should be taken less as a correct assumption of the victim's sexuality and taken more as a sign of the victor's inner insecurities ab…Read more >

Because we are gay, bi, or lesbian, we are not tied to any particular flow of patriarchal structure, or are the end of such a structure-by-blood-relation. We don't produce from our uteri (if we have any such thing), and we don't give grandchildren to our own parents. We may adopt and raise children, but not much else.
Thus, we are tied together into family units by the people with whom we have sexual relations and share our personal resources. Because the potential for a biologically-patriarchal relationship in the form of "birthing-parent-over-birthed-child" is absent from a same-sex relationship, we are relatively free to share our sex, our love and our care with more than one other person. The same-sex relationship is defined primarily b…Read more >
